Yes. A compressor nebulizer draws about 200 W, so a 1,024 Wh power station covers about 26 treatments of 10 minutes and a 288 Wh unit about 7. Treat it as a short bridge, never your only backup.
A compressor nebulizer uses a small air pump to turn liquid medicine into a mist. Philips lists its InnoSpire Essence at 1.7 amps on 120 V, which works out to about 200 W, and it draws that the whole time it runs. We allow about 300 W for the moment it starts. Small travel mesh units are a different class and draw around 10 W. To check your own model, multiply the amps on its label by 120, or look for a watt rating in the manual.
Every station in our table can run it, since even the smallest puts out 300 W. What matters is how many treatments you get from one charge. A 10-minute treatment at 200 W uses about 33 Wh. That gives about 7 treatments on a 286 to 288 Wh unit, about 12 on the Goal Zero Yeti 500 and about 26 on a 1,024 Wh unit. Run nonstop, a 300 Wh unit lasts about 1 hour, the Yeti 500 about 2 hours and a 1,000 Wh unit about 4 to 4.5 hours.
A power station is a short bridge through an outage, never your only backup for a nebulizer or any treatment you rely on to breathe. Batteries run down, and a long outage can outlast a full charge. Ask your equipment supplier what battery or DC options exist for your model, and ask your prescriber what to do if you cannot run a treatment. Register with your utility's medical-needs program so they know you depend on power.
How long does each power station run a nebulizer?
At about 200 W on average, a nebulizer runs for about 1 hr on the 286 Wh EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus, about 4 hrs to 4.5 hrs on a 1,000 Wh-class unit (998–1,070 Wh) and about 17 hrs on the 4,096 Wh EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3.

Estimate: battery Wh × 0.85 ÷ 200 W average (200 W × 1 duty). Your model may draw more or less; check its label. Prices are typical ranges we checked by hand on October 9, 2026, not live prices.
Where these numbers come from
Philips rates its InnoSpire Essence compressor nebulizer at 120 V and 1.7 A (about 200 W), while small travel units like Omron's draw around 10 W. A treatment takes only 5 to 10 minutes, so each one uses well under 50 Wh. A battery should never be the only backup for life-support equipment.

Stations that can bridge a short outage for a nebulizer
About 26 treatments at 200 W, with room to run a router or a fridge from the same battery. Lists a 10 ms UPS switch-over and recharges from the wall in about 49 minutes.
• Keep the station charged between outages. Check it and top it up regularly, so it is full when the power goes out.
• Switch the station's AC output off between treatments. An idle inverter still drains the battery a little.
• Ask your supplier whether your model has a 12V DC cord or its own battery pack. Running from the car port skips the inverter, where about 15% of the battery is lost.
• Count the treatments your station covers, about 26 on a 1,024 Wh unit, and plan a recharge from a car or solar panels before you run low.
• Keep the station and the nebulizer dry, and leave space around the station's vents while it runs.

Yes, but it’s tight, about 1 hr for a nebulizer on the EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus.
About 4 to 4.5 hours of nonstop use on a 1,000 Wh unit, which is about 26 treatments of 10 minutes on a 1,024 Wh unit. A 300 Wh unit lasts about 1 hour, or about 7 treatments.
Can a 300 Wh power station run a nebulizer?
Yes. All three 286 to 288 Wh units in our table can, even the 300 W Jackery Explorer 300 v2. Each gives about 7 treatments of 10 minutes at 200 W.
How much power does a nebulizer use?
A compressor model like the Philips InnoSpire Essence draws about 200 W, so a 10-minute treatment uses about 33 Wh. Travel mesh units draw around 10 W and use far less.
What size power station do I need for a nebulizer?
Size it by treatments, since every unit can run it. At 10 minutes and 200 W each, plan on about 7 treatments from a 288 Wh unit, about 12 from the 499 Wh Yeti 500 and about 26 from a 1,024 Wh unit.
Is a power station enough backup for a nebulizer?
No. It is a short bridge, not a full plan, since batteries run down and can fail. Ask your equipment supplier and prescriber what backup they recommend, and register with your utility's medical-needs program.
